Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Kervon collects, why we collect it, and what control you have over it — whether you're a visitor, a client, or someone using an app we've built.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to Kervon LTD ("Kervon", "we", "us", "our"), registered at The McLaren Building, 46 The Priory Queensway, Birmingham, B4 7LR, United Kingdom, and covers this website, our client-facing services, and any application we publish or maintain, unless that application has its own separate privacy notice.
By using our website or engaging our services, you accept the practices described here. If something here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use our Services, or get in touch so we can talk it through.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us directly — your name, email, phone number and whatever you write to us, when you fill in the contact form, request a quote, or email us directly.
- Information collected automatically — standard technical detail such as browser and device type, approximate location, and which pages you visited, gathered through website analytics.
- Information from the apps we build — where an app we publish collects data to do its job (for example, storage or performance metrics used by an optimiser feature), what's collected and why is disclosed inside that specific app, and in its own privacy notice where one applies.
3. Why we collect it
- To answer enquiries, quotes and support requests
- To deliver the development, growth or AI work you've engaged us for
- To improve this website and the products we build and maintain
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
4. Our legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)
Where UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on one or more of these grounds: you've given consent (for example, by submitting our contact form); it's necessary to perform a contract with you as a client; or it serves a legitimate business interest of ours that doesn't override your own rights — such as keeping the site running securely.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't hand it to third parties so they can market to you.
5. Who we share information with
We share information with the service providers who help us run our business — hosting, email delivery, analytics — under agreements that require them to handle it responsibly. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect Kervon, a client, or another person from harm or fraud. Beyond that, your information stays with us.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client records only as long as we need them to deliver a service, satisfy legal or accounting duties, or resolve a dispute — after which we delete or anonymise them. Technical and analytics data is generally kept for a shorter window unless we're required to hold it longer.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — access controls, encrypted connections, and secure hosting — to protect the information we hold. No system connected to the internet is completely immune to risk, and we can't promise absolute security, but we take this seriously and review our practices regularly.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you're based, you may be able to see what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, or request a portable copy of it. To ask about any of this, email clientservice@kervonapps.com and we'll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
9. Data leaving the UK
Some tools we rely on — hosting, analytics, email — may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps, such as standard contractual clauses, to keep an equivalent level of protection in place.
10. On-device processing in our apps
Where an AI or automation feature in one of our apps can run locally on your device instead of on a server, we build it that way by default — it's a design decision, not something we retrofit for this policy. Where a feature genuinely needs server-side processing to work, that's disclosed in the app itself.
11. Children's privacy
Our website and client services are aimed at businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Where one of our apps is intended for a general audience, age-appropriate handling is set out in that app's own privacy notice.
12. Other websites
Our site and communications sometimes link out to other websites we don't control. We're not responsible for how those sites handle your data, so it's worth checking their own policy before sharing anything with them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. Any update will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page; material changes will be flagged more visibly where appropriate.
